This episode features Sharon Ferraro, Co-founder of Training Solutions, Inc. and Bite Me Cancer. Sharon shares her courage journey in 2 areas of her life including starting a non-profit and to leaving her corporate job to work with her husband and be able to have the flexibility to put family first. Sharon along with her husband, Michael and daughter, Nikki started the Bite Me Cancer Foundation after her daughter was diagnosed with cancer at age 17. Bite Me Cancer has provided over 13,000 Teen Support Bags for teenage cancer patients and funded its 10th grant for research. Sharon had her Why Not Today? moment while commuting to work one day and listening to a Tony Robbins tape that asked “if you could do anything, what would it be?” Sharon made the decision to leave her corporate job 3 months later to work with her husband at Training Solutions. We talked about how Sharon leans on her faith and the scripture John 3:16. We also talked about the DiSC personality profile assessments which she uses in her training company. We discussed our different personality profiles and how we can use them to adjust to our environment. Sharon encourages others to live life in full, in the now! Just take one step at a time!
