We talked about how a month after Mindy left her corporate job, that her son and her were run over in a crosswalk by a distracted driver, and he was killed at 6 months of age. We talked about Mindy’s pinnacle of courage was coming back to this life from a dark, dark, and lonely of place. Mindy shared about how that amount of grief and trauma caused her to consciously choose not just to breathe every day but to build her life again. Mindy was coaching herself as much as she could every minute of every day. She didn’t really have her own network and all of a sudden she had people showing up for her in very vulnerable, very profound, very passionate, very beautiful ways. This was another moment of courage for Mindy! We talked about how Courage comes from just saying, yes even if you don’t have the end, even if you especially if you don’t have the end figured out. Just say yes, and take one step and be open to where it leads
