This episode features Elizabeth, Confessions Of The Chromosomally Enhanced., Elizabeth shares her stories of courage as she raises her older sister, Leanne and her adopted daughter, Josie who both have Down’s Syndrome in addition to 2 other children, Merryn and Lydia. We share stories and challenges that her family encounters daily. We talk about the similarities with my family and my youngest sister, Amanda who also has Down’s Syndrome. We also discuss the courage of our parents when our sisters were born, when there was very little information and/or resources about Down’s Syndrome and all the resources that are now available today.
